Payment Policy
Your credit card is required to secure your reservation. We reserve the right to authorize your credit card on receipt of a confirmed booking. A declined card will result in a cancelled booking. For bookings on our own website, you may pay on arrival, however, if you wish to have your full payment made in advance, please advise us and we will action this with receipt of payment to your email address.
Cancellation Policy
A cancellation fee of 20% MAY apply to online bookings [at the discretion of Bucklands Beach Waterfront Motel]. If you cancel your accommodation within 1 week of arrival a 50% cancellation fee applies and if a cancellation is made within 48hours of arrival a 100%
cancellation fee applies. Please contact us for any changes or cancellations to your booking. Any changes to bookings are subject to availability. All prices are in NZD $.
Check In and Check Out Policy: UNLESS BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT... CHECK IN is from 2pm onward and CHECK OUT is by 10am.
Child Policy
Children are welcome. Cots, highchairs and baby baths are provided and included in the cost structure for children. Please request when making your booking.
Other
Our Motel is a SMOKE FREE establishment and is a certified Healthy Hotel. Additional cleaning as a result of smoking or strong odours will incur a surcharge of $150.00 to the registered guest, plus the additional costs of closing the unit. Pets are permitted.
Requests for early check in (1.00pm) and late check out (11am) do not incur additional charges but must be arranged PRIOR to arrival. Requests for an EARLIER CHECK-IN
